PLDC - Bahram Atef, the former Head Coach of ZobAhan who a few weeks ago was sent to Germany by the club for a coaching class, admitted his disinterest in guiding the team for another season. In an interview with the our reporter, Atef said: "My love for the team has worked against me and has created problems for me in the past and I do not want to get my self involved again." He continued: "So far I have had different offers from some IPL clubs, and I will probably be coaching an IPL or a 1st division team next season." By mentioning his successes in ZobAhan, he told reporters: "NO one has served this team as much as I have but some people do not want to recognize that." At the end he said: "Even in this past season, if we have not been successful it has been because of the lack of the support from the club management, because if they had provided us with our needs, perhaps we would have become the IPL champions." |
